Out of the many phenotypes we encountered from this seed pack from Crockett Family Farms, our best in show from this seed run is an indica dominant hybrid. Our specimen’s terpene profile is high in ß-Myrcene, D-limonene and Ocimene. ß-Myrcene terpene is associated with calming, anti-anxiety properties. Also present in this cultivar is Ocimene 2 terpene which gives our specimen a delightfully sweet and citrusy taste has highly effective anti-inflammatory properties. Our phenotypes average potency tested consistently in the mid 20%’s {~21% – 24%}. Strawberry Fields lineage is said to be Strawberry Banana (x) crossed with Tangie. Strawberry Banana is a cross between Banana Kush (x) and Bubble Gum. Tangie is said to be a cross of California Orange (x) and Skunk. The aroma of our phenotype leans more Strawberry Banana bubblegum with a hint of skunk. The taste has been described like that of freshly chilled, and sliced strawberries. There is a gritty sweetness and lip-smacking tartness to this phenotype that pairs extraordinarily well with ones freshly ground morning cup of coffee and yoga.
